Down With Webster Biography

Down With Webster is an eight piece band out of Toronto, ON. Formed in 1998 when they were barely teenagers!

DWW writes, produces and rehearses all of their music in their garage studio but they are definitely more than just a garage band. Over the last eight years, the band has built up an arsenal of material consisting of over 200 songs, an energy-packed live show and a rock solid fan-base that grows every time they play.

2006 was a huge year for the boys. They played tons of shows all over Canada, their first single "Weekends" was added into high rotation on CHUM stations across Canada in June and made it to the top 10 on the Atlantic Canada charts; played the NXNE Festival and wowed fans on the iCoke stage at Wakestock. Fall saw the boys touring Eastern Canada playing to sold out crowds and November kicked off with their first video shoot with Geoff McLean (30 Seconds to Mars, Buck 65) for their second single "Miracle Mile" — watch for it this summer.

Currently the boys are working in the studio with Producer James Robertson (Esthero, Skye Sweetnam) finishing their first full length album, due out Spring 2007.

Their music combines all elements and styles of music without trying to replicate any one particular genre. DWW create music that is defining new musical boundaries and enticing fans of all ages. These multi-talented, multi-racial young men are ready to show the world just what happens when years of dedication, friendship, energy and raw talent explode. This band is on their way to start a musical revolution!
