Jack Garratt Biography

Jack Garratt is a British singer and multi-instrumentalist from Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire who attended St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood. He will release his debut studio album Phase in February 2016.

In 2005 his song "The Girl" was selected to compete in the National final selection process for the United Kingdom to compete at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005. The show was held on 4 September 2005 at the Granada Studios in Manchester, broadcast on ITV2 and was hosted by Michael Underwood and Nikki Sanderson. Televoting selected the winner from the eight competing entries, which votes separated into six voting groups based on geographical area. Jack finished 8th with 13 points.

On 28 October 2014, Jack released his first two extended plays Remnix and Remnants. On 28 November 2014 he released the single "The Love You're Given". His 2014 single "Worry" was playlisted by BBC Radio 1, and he headlined the BBC Introducing stage of the Reading and Leeds Festivals. On 12 April 2015 he released the EP Synesthesiac. On 5 July 2015 he released the single "Weathered". On 27 September 2015 he performed at the Apple Music Festival which took place at The Roundhouse, London. He was the winner of the Critics' Choice category at the 2016 BRIT Awards, and is on MTV's Brand New 2016 shortlist. He will release his debut studio album Phase in February 2016.
