Kandy Rain are one of the twelve finalists of the sixth series of The X Factor.

Kandy Rain have become the first act to be voted off this year's X Factor live finals.

The girl group - clad in sexy leather outfits - were sent packing last night after losing the deadlock to singer Rachel Adedeji.
Despite getting two votes - one from absent mentor Louis Walsh, the other from Simon Cowell - Kandy Rain had a smaller proportion of the viewers' telephone votes and were sent home.

Band member Azi Jegbefume, 25, said: "Do you know what, we could not have done any better. We were hoping everyone out there would give us a second chance."
She added: "We enjoyed every bit of the show."

Earlier, red-faced judge Dannii Minogue made a grovelling apology about her comments to contestant Danyl on Saturday night's show.
She said: "Last night was a crazy night. I just want to say sorry to anyone I may have offended last night with my comments."

Simon - who is Danyl's mentor - added: "There is never a live show, particularly this show, without a bit of drama."
Meanwhile, last year's winner Alexandra Burke got back to her roots last night - performing on the X Factor stage where her career began.

And singer Robbie Williams, 35, wowed the studio audience with his performance of comeback single Bodies.
The former Take That star - who has sold 55million records - was acting as mentor to the wannabe pop stars as they faced the public vote for the first time this week.
Speaking after his comeback appearance, he said: "I loved it, I loved it, great audience - what a fantastic audience."

AZI, full name Azi Aishling Sarafina Jegbefume, is 1/4 of xfactor girlgroup KandyRain. She hails from Dublin,Ireland from a family of five. Before becoming part of KandyRain Azi used to represent her country in Athletics. At the tender age of 19 Azi left Dublin and travelled to london in pursuit of a childhood dream. The dream was not to be a professional athlete but to be a recording artist. The last few years has given Azi some of her most amazing memories in the music industry and she has formed unforgettable bonds. Azi feels that of all her experiences in the music game KandyRain is the best thing that has ever happened. "With KandyRain I feel it fits like a glove. The image and sound has come so natural,and the chemistry between us girls is so real. Their like my sisters and i love them because no matter what they always got my back". KandyRain are four controversial girls ready to change the face of the British Pop. Watch this space because you heard it here first.

COCO, full name Coco Victoria Lloyd. Grew up in Hitchin, Hertfordshire with her mum with whom she is very close. Coco attended boarding school until she was 16 gaining 9 GCSEs. She then attended day college to gain her four AS levels. Coco had always attended stage school at weekends and at the age of 17 she finally left studying to pursue a career in music and acting. Whilst going through auditions and different music projects Coco did a few years of modelling and promotional jobs to keep herself afloat until she got her break. Coco was finding it impossible to stay optimistic until she finally got placed into the band "Kandy Rain." Cocos bond and love for the other girls fuelled her passion and ambition once more to suceed. Kandy Rain is all Coco ever dreamed of doing. She couldnt imagine life without singing with the girls, this really is everything to her. If Coco could have one wish for Kandy Rain it would be that they could have a long lasting singing career with huge success doing what they love.

CHEMMANE, full name Chemmane Rita Jean Applewhaite, grew up in basingstoke hampshire with her mum & brother. Chemmane started dancing ballet, tap & modern at the age of 3. As she grew older this became a huge passion of hers. From the age of 10 she attened JLD school of dance where they saw Chemmane had great potential in ballet & decided to train her to her best ability & put her in for an audition for Elmhurst ballet school. Chemmane was succesfully offered a place in the highly acclaimed school, but unfortunately could not attend due to financial difficulties & being unsuccessful in getting a grant. Chemmane never gave up hope. She kept doing what she loved and refused to give in. This included being in pantomime & various other shows which she really enjoyed. Then, at the age of 19 Chemmane got a place at 'arts ed musical theatre school' with a full scholarship. Whilst attending arts, Chemmane learnt jazz, american style tap, ballet, contemporary, street dance, acting and singing! After spending just over 2 yrs at arts she went on to work in Greece travelling around the main land singing & dancing in shows for 18 months. When Chemmane came back home to England her good friend Nathan lubbock-smith got her a temporary job teaching street jazz at italia conti associates in Wokingham. Chemmane still continued to audition for various things & kept trying to follow her dream. Chemmane went through a really bad time in her life & the only the person that got her through this was her her mum who is her best friend. She gave her the support she needed & the hope & belief that she could get through this. Then Chemmane met the girls in Kandy Rain, this was like a dream come true.... " These girls are like my soul mates and together we will fulfill our dreams of being successfull & passionate in anything we do, we will show determination till the end."

KAT, full name Khatereh Dovani. Brought up in West Londons Ladbroke Grove by her mother she has one older sister. Khatereh was a gymnast and attended Swallows Gym Club and The Kensington Leisure Centre. She moved to Edinburgh Scotland for 2 years and went to college to study sport and exercise. Kat spent a lot of her time working for the Bravehearts charity raising money for terminally ill children. She found edinburgh to be an amazing city but decided to move back to London because she was missing her family and friends. Khatereh's mother runs a beauty salon. Currently Khatereh works at the salon alongside her mother. KandyRain means the world to her, she loves being with the girls. They are like sisters and she feels so blessed to have found them.
