It is the end of the 60s, and Amedeo Minghi records “Alla fine”.
In 1976 his first hit, “L'immenso”, becomes one of the 70s'greatest. He continues to compose (for other artists) but, in 1983, true milestones are born such as "1950", "St. Michel", "Quando l'estate verrà", "Sognami", "Emanuela e io", "Cuore di pace", "Ladri di sole”, “Serenata” e "Le nuvole e la rosa".

In 1989, the recital “FORSE SI MUSICALE” at the “Piccolo Eliseo” theater in Rome is a huge success: “Vita mia", "Canzoni", "Vattene amore", (the last two written for Mietta and produced by Amedeo). It is followed by "Nene' ", the concert at “S. MARIA IN TRASTEVERE” (40.000 people), the concert at “Teatro Sistina” in Rome, and the concert “I RICORDI DEL CUORE” at the “Stadio Olimpico” later recorded on a Home Video. During this time Amedeo also composes sound tracks for 8 TV fiction dramas, including the “Fantaghiro’” series and “EDERA”, the first TV drama series produced by Fininvest.

In the 90s , "Come due soli in cielo" and "Cantare è d'amore" are produced. Minghi holds concerts in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where two albums are published. Amedeo greets the end of this millennium with “UN UOMO VENUTO DA LONTANO” dedicated to Pope John Paul II and performed in his presence in the “aula PAOLO VI”, the video of which is included in the album “DECENNI”, and with "GERUSALEMME", a piece commissioned by the Vatican on the occasion of the 'Jubilee 2000' and contained in the double CD “Minghi Studio Collection”.

Amedeo participates in the Sanremo Song Festival of 2000 singing "Futuro come te" with Mariella Nava, followed by the publication of his 20th album, ANITA. He also composes and sings the new musical theme for the TV drama series “Terra Nostra 2- La Speranza”. In 2002, Minghi publishes "L'altra faccia della luna" and, in 2003 under the auspices of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the collaboration of the "Istituto Italiano di cultura", he performs in South America (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo - Cordoba e Buenos Aires), in Europe (Cracow, Strasbourg, Bucharest, Madrid, Rome) and again in JERUSALEM. He brings this tour to a close on December 19, 2003 with a concert at the “Palalottomatica" transmitted live by satellite.

In 2004, Amedeo collaborates with Lino Banfi in a project for UNICEF which results in the production of a CD entitled "Sotto l'ombrellone. Subsequently, he publishes a collection, entitled "Cosí sei Tu" which includes a duet with the Muscovite singer Diana GurzKaya performed at the Kremlin Theater in Moscow. He also participates as a composer, in Bocelli's new album "Andrea" by contributing the song "Per Noi". On January 21st, 2005, AMEDEO MINGHI's new album entitled "SU DI ME" is released, and on March 21st, Minghi begins his Theater Tour at the "Teatro Nuovo" in Milan. In 2006, in celebration of Amedeo's CAREER OF 40 YEARS IN MUSIC, EMI publishes the “PLATINUM COLLECTION”, consisting of 3 CDs, containing 48 hits plus the new song "ED ALTRE STORIE". In addition, he writes his first autobiographical book “L'ASCOLTERANNO GLI AMERICANI”, published by Rai Eri and distributed by Mondadori, written in the first person and recounting his artistic life lived through the changes of two whole generations.

In the role of "artistic producer", Amedeo Minghi produces for the "Khorakhané" their first album entitled "La ballata di Gino" which they presented at the 57th edition of the Sanremo Festival under the "Youth Category". The same year he composes the sound track for Lino Banfi’s movie "L'allenatore nel pallone 2", which is recorded on a CD produced and distributed by Warner Chappel Italia.

On February2, 2008, Amedeo Minghi holds a concert at the "Auditorium della Conciliazione" with the "Sinfonietta Orchestra" of Rome composed by more than 90 elements and conducted by maestro Renato Serio. Guests of the “soiree” are: Lino Banfi, Serena Autieri, Mietta, Rossana Casale, Fabio Andreotti, Giulio Base, Laura Comi (“etoile dell’opera di Roma”), Maria Dangell , Annuccia (“Lolla”) , Gabriel Orit , Hakeem Abu Jaeela e Khorakhane’. The entire event is copresented by Amedeo and Eleonora Daniele.

In 2008, Minghi participates in the 58th edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song "Cammina cammina", and publishes the collection "40 anni di me con voi" with the new song. Subsequently, Amedeo performs on tour throughout Italy. In the months that follow, he is engaged in many important events such as the trip to Normandy, in particular, to Mont Saint Michel, where he sings inside the Abbey, and receives the key to this town by its mayor. On March 27 , 2009 , a dvd of the entire concert held at the " Auditorium della Conciliazione " in Rome is released along with a triple CD containing a collection of live performances , two new songs dedicaded to the poet Baudelaire , and a DVD of the above concert. On March 28 , the same concert is broadcast on RAI UNO during the second part of their evening program. On March 31 , Minghi leaves for the Holy Land where he sings along whit a singer from Palestine and one from Israel on the occasion of the Pauline Year Pilgrimage.
