Angie Miller Biography

Angela Kristine "Angie" Miller (born February 17, 1994) is an American singer from Beverly, Massachusetts. She is currently a Top 9 finalist on the twelfth season of American Idol.

Miller, a Pastor's daughter, auditioned in New York City, with "Mamma Knows Best." She stated at her audition that she is partially deaf, with 20% hearing loss in her right ear, and 40% in her left. Prior to auditioning for American Idol, Angie had a successful YouTube channel, earning a current total views of 1.5 million.

In the Solo Round, she performed her original song "You Set Me Free", which has earned 2.5 million views on Youtube. In the semi-finals, Miller performed "Never Gone" by previous American Idol contestant Colton Dixon. She was one of the top five females to advance to the finals.
