K Camp Biography
He was shy in high school which lead him not to perform in front of his peers. But once he got over it, the Milwaukee-born, Atlanta-raised rapper started performing in high school, as part of a group called HBC. The group split, in part due to lack of ambition, but K Camp took his music a little more seriously, albeit without any plan of making a career out of it. He continued to perform and record on his own and, in 2009, released the party anthem "All Night," which gained some popularity in Atlanta. K Camp continued to build his reputation through underground releases such as Fan4life, Show Money, and In Due Time, hosted by DJ Drama. "Money Baby" has peaked at #20 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, #34 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at #20 on the Rap Songs chart, while "Cut Her Off" featuring 2 Chainz, has peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at #60. In April 2014, he released the EP In Due Time on Interscope Records.
